The 22nd WCET Biennial Congress 2018 was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from April 15 to 18, 2018 which saw all Enterostomal Therapists and Nurses around the world to meet and discuss issues in Enterstomal Therapy Nursing. There were about 3,000 particpants in attendance.
It was an opportune time for the Asia and South Pacific Ostomy Association (ASPOA) represented by its president Mr. Richard McNair together with Mr. Ronaldo Lora to further introduce the advocacy of the ASPOA during the said Congress. We were provided a table where we distributed flyers and also took time to talk with manufacturers, nurses and doctors regarding the work and activities of the association.

The participation in the WCET meeting was a meaningful event inasmuch as new ties were made and old friendships renewed for propagating the work in ostomy care especially for the Region.
